I used to play a MUD called AAW in middle school, it's still around but those were some good times. I even had a friend who wrote his own MUD, it made it to beta, but he never finished it. My other friends and I ended up creating dungeons which was actually a lot of fun to do. I don't think anyone but us ever got a chance to read them however. Anyways if theres interest heres a MUD listing:

You can find anything from DnD clones, to pure PvP, to sci-fi, star wars, anime, pretty much anything. There are actually some really funny ones out there.

You played Adventures for Ancient Wisdom as well? My character's name there was *drum roll* Wolverine. My lady love, went by TwisterJoe. I was in the clan called UTN: United Tribal Nations, which was later changed to PNM: Phantoms. I also helped write some of the history of that MUD. If I remember right, Esa ran the server. There are a few other things still kicking around in my mind, names like Queen Morgase and like the path leading east to the Giant's Teeth mountains or west into the forest where the Lotus Temple was... But I've forgotten most of it. That was a decade ago, and I played for I don't know, 3 years, so I'm surprised I remember that much.

Did you play in V1 or V2? Me and my friends only played in V1, and I was Araiak.

Oh, by V1 ---> V2 do you mean when they made that new server? Yeah, I was mostly V1 too. I guess we didn't bump into each other, the name isn't ringing a bell for me.

I played right before they opened the new server, which totally sucked. It was so long ago I can't even remember the names my friends used in game, well that and the fact that I've heard about a million of them that all sound the same from playing DnD back in those days.
