The Uber Update!

We've got a lot to announce as we get closer to the update's release this Thursday, June 23rd. We've been holding one of the surprises pretty close to the vest for months now. We don't want to ruin it, but we'll give you four clues to get you guessing:

1.) It IS a "Meet the" short.
2.) It involves ONE of the two remaining classes.
3.) It's NOT the Pyro.
4.) It's the MEDIC.


Let the speculation begin!

So what does this f2p mean in terms of gameplay?

Is it gimped unless you buy stuff?

I haven't played tf2 for a long time...I guess now would be a good time to start again, since there will be legions of noobs like me.

Does this also mean that everyone can have access to all the source mods like Eternal Silence, Insurrection and stuff?

I'm pretty sure it just means you can play 'nilla TF2 as much as you want for free.

Here's the breakdown:

I think by "items" they mean ones you can receive randomly and use. So there you go. Premium, obviously, is whoever paid for the game.
