That's pretty nifty! Thanks for sharing that :)

Edit: Did you post that on the ns2 forums as well Brian?

I did not yet. I will be adding a bit of polish first, at least. Also, I assume you wouldn't mind if I left gw.oldf.net as the default server name?

Cool man. I don't see how it would be an issue to have our server as a default, though it might be going offline at the end of this month. Might be better to have something like 127.0.01 as the default?
Up to you.

If you do replace it with a cheaper one in Cali though, surely it would use the same gw.oldf.net address? :)

Very cool.

Hate to be the bringer of bad news, but steam already has the majority of this functionality built in to the Steam server browser tool, which I use religiously.

I have nothing but trouble with NS2 servers and the steam server browser. Maybe it is different for you, but for me it is amazingly broken. For example I can add an ns2 server to favorites using the Add A Server button, but it doesn't refresh automatically. If I click refresh it refreshes, then moments later it changes to not responding...

/pokes head into forums/

This is neat-o!

Also, I too have issues with steam's server browser. If I played NS2 anymore this would be my ticket though!

Well... THIS is awkward...
